1971 Stingray Corvette!!

 Good Golly this car is purdy!! Just a little hand me down from the ol' pops!! Spencer's Pops that is...thanks David!! Last summer when we were in Florida we were at dinner with Spencer's Dad and Joanne when the subject of Davids corvette came up.  He made some comment about not wanting to store it or move it or something like that.  Spence said, jokingly, well I'll take it off your hands ha ha. Spence says I've got room for it.  Then you could see the wheels turning on Davids face and then he said "You really would want it?" Like that is even a question.  SPence said well HECK ya!! Then that was it.  A couple months later it was shipped to our house from Michigan.  And now it is Spencer's little baby! I think it is just beautiful!

 I helped out in Peyton's class for their Christmas party! It's always fun to see their friends and check out the girl they are digging on.  This time Peyton's crush was Maddison....on the front row sitting indian style, dark blue shirt in the middle of the purple and yellow shirts.  Cutie!

 It was interesting to watch how he and his friend Trevor were flirting and giggling back and forth with these girls! So funny!

The Strongest Man In The World!

 The "Strongest Man In The World" was on TV so the boys were challenging their Dad. "Bet you can't lift both of us"...and so on.  No picture, but he even showed them by lifting me up over his head and doing squats.  He might not be the strongest man in the world but he is the stongest man in the house Ha ha.

Lincoln's Castle

 I love that Lincoln loves to play with toys! He is 8 years old and still plays like this!  He made a paper mote for his castle that bought with his own birthday money.  As you can see in the pictures he makes sound effects and really gets creative with his "fings" (things).

 Santa got him some more accessories to go with the castle, the eagle and the horse with the knight.

 Ha ha he makes me laugh! Funny kid!

Baba for the Week!

At Krackle Barrel with Baba....her favorite place to eat when she comes to St. George! Below: Spence was rubbing her back one night before bed. 

Spence went to Vegas on Sunday January 6th 2013 to get Judy and bring her back to our house for the week.  We helped her take her pills and do the day to day stuff that is getting hard for her.  We really enjoyed the time we had this week with her! She helped me make some ham and bean soup in the crock pot, she played with Pres...barbies, read books, and let Pres paint her nails over and over.  We are so sad to see this happening to our special Baba! She is on so much medication for the intense pain of the Cancer, she has lost 35 lbs since her diagnosis about 6 months ago.  Sometimes she isn't even herself.  So sad, but like I said really treasured this time we had with her!

Charity came to see the Swat demo!

Spencer got some of his SWAT buddies to get together on their days off to do a SWAT demonstration for Judy!  It was awesome!  We were blown away by there kindness for taking the time to show Judy a little of what Spencer does, and show her one of his dreams that he had accomplished.  She got a little emotional and really appreciated it!

Spence was very sweet with his mom this week. He got up with her every morning at 3:30am to give her her morphine pill.  He took off as much work as possible to come spend time with her.  He rubbed her back and took her to her favorite restaurant (Kracker Barrel).  He made sure her ankle that was swollen had an ice pack.  He took great care of her.

Judy also wanted to go to my Dad's grave.  We met my mom over there and she was impressed with the cemetery and the peaceful nature that it had, next to the river and the horses.  Then we went to see the new house my mom had just moved into!

My Name Is PRESLEY

This is Presley learning how to write her name!! I wrote it in the top corner then she practices below.  She practiced the "e" for awhile and got that the rest was easy for her to learn except the "s".  She has the hardest time doing it the right way.  So far she is a quick learner!  Still love her name as much as I did when I heard it almost 11 years ago.

The Butterfly...

 One summer day Presley ran inside to tell me she found a beautiful butterfly on the drive way.  So I decided to make a little photo shoot out of it.  It was fun capturing the excitment of her checking out this butterfly and then her holding it on her finger.  Scared at first then as she held it she says " Mom hims loves me".  So cute!!
