"Emma's Garden Party"

This was the Relief Society (enrichment) activity last Wednesday. As the Enrichment Leader it is my job to come up with the game plan for these things. This one inpaticlar was the Relief Society Birthday party. I called it "Emma's Garden Party" and we paid tribute to all the past RS General Presidents. I found a skit that had each President dress in the era of the President and give a short little talk about there time as President and what they had accomplished. We also wore garden/sun hats and had a prize for the best hat.

I rounded up a ton of garden like stuff from people in the ward and found a wedding planner that lent me some of her stuff including the center pieces. It was fun to decorate this gym like a garden and it turned out exactly what I had envisioned!!

Presley was there for most of the day "helping" me set up!

My mom came to support me!

We also had a cake decorating contest since it was the Birthday Party and all. The one who won was the biggest cake there on the end! Very fancy!!

This was the hat the won the prize!

This was Natalie doing her part of the skit. Most of the ladies memorized there parts and really took it to heart, some were even emotional about it! It really went well!

This is Me and the 2nd councilor over me and the two official committee members! We had fun doing this together!!

Overall I was really happy with the turn out! So many people helped out and came together to make it as nice as it was!
