Feeling Crafty!

The last couple weeks I have been in a crafty/revamping mood!! So here is a few things that I have done.
Warning: these pictures have all been taken on my phone. Sorry they aren't very bright or clear.

This one I was inspired by something I saw on the Shanty girls blog which I do very commonly. I found one of the candle sticks at DI and came home thinking what should I do with it and realized that I had all of the other things, all collected from DI and Tai Pan, and put these three glass jars together. Painted and sanded the candle sticks, hot glued the jars on them and wrapped the tops with Jute.

Made a friend a car seat cover.

Took some new pictures of the kids and framed them for the living room.

Found this table at a yard sale for FIVE bucks and painted it and sanded it. Then rubbed stain all over it!!

I'm revamping my room too....I changed the curtains and duvet cover to black and white damask. I found that frame at DI for a couple bucks and painted black and sanded it. I am in the process of getting some teal vinyl lettering to put the word "Love" in the middle of it to match the throw pillows which I got at Costco.

This idea I also got from the Shanty girls...I think. I used the same picture frame idea and nailed a piece of burlap onto it with decorative furniture nails. I used my cricut to make stencils for the words.
