Halloween 2011

Halloween night we went to a neighborhood block potluck. It was fun to see everyone in their costumes and for the kids to see there friends. They did a parade for all the kids and gave prizes. Peyton won for "scariest costume"!! Then we dispersed for trick or treating. The boys ran off with a few friends and Spence and I took Pres to a few houses. She thought it was really fun until she fell and skinned her cute little bat girl knee. Spence had to go into work so we called it a night and Pres and I handed out candy at the house! Every time the bell rang she jumped up and ran to the door saying "mom, trick or treat, trick or treat!". So cute!

Peyton and his friend Jack. Peyton was a "dead football player" and Lincoln had two costumes this year. He was a Vampire and then a Zombie.

Thriller! For Amber's birthday we got a few girls together went to dinner and to thriller at Tuacahn! We had a great time and it got us in the Halloween spirit!

Breakfast with Witches!! On October 29th we went to Staheli farm to have breakfast with the witches. Delicious food and an entertaining show by the witches of Staheli Farm. They made some witches brew and added all sorts of gross stuff to it. They even asked a little kid to go outside and get something and then turned her into a chicken. It was pretty clever and the we enjoyed it!

A real chicken that they brought in.

Presley's reaction after the chicken came in!

Nana's Annual Halloween Party! Nana went above and beyond this year for her Halloween party! We all dressed up and came over to Nanas for some scary food and some crafts. We also played a couple games including Halloween bingo. I made sugar cookies for the first time for the party. Bats and worms and owls, I'm glad I did it but will be prepared for the insane mess it makes for next time!

Some friends of mine invited me to the "What Witches Want" night at Staheli farm. I had never been before and didn't know that everyone dressed like witches to this thing. I will next time, but we did have a lot of laughs and a really great time searching the corn maze for prizes. I got the free tickets to the "breakfast with witches" (see above). We rode on a hay ride to and from the corn maze and to the witches house where we had witches brew. We then went into the barn and watched a hypnosis show. Fun had by all!!
