Memorial Weekend!

The Friday of Memorial weekend we drove down to Las Vegas to attend GVHS's 20th choir reunion! It turned out to be really really fun! During the day some of us closer friends got together at Kellie's moms house, the place we practically grew up! We swam and ate and caught up with everyone! Everyone brought their spouses and kids, it was neat to see every one's offspring! Then that night we sang in the alumni choir. We practiced right before the concert and sang three songs. They even brought back Fusion just for the concert and they were wearing our exact outfits and doing some of the same songs and dances. Kellie and I sat together and were dying over the memories that it brought back! Spence was a great sport the whole day!!

This is the GV alumni choir about to perform!

We came home Friday night after the concert and arrived home at 2am. We were pleasantly welcomed by Ashlea and her family who had come up to celebrate the rest of Memorial weekend with us! We had plans to go to the Lake but the weather was going to get really windy so we opted to go to the rec center and swim. The boys lifted some weights first and then met us down at the pool.

Pres just fell in love with swimming this day. She walked all over the shallow part on her hands and loved to jump in from the side.

We stayed for over three hours and Pres took a little rest on my chest.

This is everyone laying out having some snacks and enjoying each others company even though it looks like Ashlea is giving birth to Jack again! LOL!
