Spencer turned 35 this year. I wanted it to be special this year especially because it was on our 10yr anniversary also. I SURPRISED him for the first time ever! First with a day off of work. I had to talk to his LT. and he texted him the day of and said have a good birthday and take the day off! Sweet huh! Then I surprised him with a couples massage at our HOUSE! That was more for our anniversary but he loved that as well. We did it upstairs were the window was covered the soft music was playing and the mood was very relaxing! After that I surprised him with a surprise luncheon with all his cop buddies. He had a smile from ear to ear! Finally his last surprise was that I had secretly saved up $300.00 and gave him cash and as he called it "free money" because it didn't come out of the checking account (knew he would love that one!) because when I asked him what he wanted he said gas money for the boat this summer! Anyway, he had a great birthday and I was happy that all the surprises went well and that he felt loved and appreciated on his birthday!
Our friend Amber surprised Spencer with this sweet Texas A&M volleyball cake with his number on it. She brought it over and I had him come home from work for a second to see it. I told him it was a cake but he had no idea how personal it would be. He walked in and I quote "Are you kidding me???". He couldn't believe it. It really meant a lot to him! Thanks Amber!!!
It tasted great too!
